Moki's Book Of The Month FEBRUARY

The Buenos Aires Broken Hearts Club

Hey, guys Today I wanted to share with you a book I just finished reading titled The Buenos Aires Broken Hearts Club by Jessica Morrison. I absolutely fell in love with this book after finding it in the free book bin at 2nd & Charles talk about a total score! This was a sweet relatable love story that captured my attention from the very beginning.

After some life-altering events occur in the main character Cassie Moore's life she is crumbling. Cassie is one of those girls who has planned her whole life out perfectly and has never strayed from the plan she has made for herself. However, she did not plan for any bumps and obstacles along the way and it's been working great for her pretty smooth sailing up until now.

So one night in a drunken stupor she plans a trip to what seemed like the most amazing place at the time Buenos Aires Venezuela and sends out tons of emails to friends and family members about how she will be living in Buenos Aires for 6 months! Everything is paid for, everything is set up and paid for so she has no choice but to go and what started out as a trip to prove a point to friends and family actually becomes an amazing adventure that teaches Cassie a lot about life, love, and letting go.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story but also to anyone who loves a good story about self-empowerment and finding yourself. Morrison is a great writer as well her description of Buenos Aires and all of the characters in the story really paint an image in your head and help you see it in your mind.

Cassie's Character is particularly my favorite I think most women will relate to her in the fact that her plan was just helping her live up to an image of what she thought a woman her age should be. But as Cassie's adventure, she goes on she comes to realize that sometimes planning everything down to the tee and not allowing wiggle room for unforeseen events can really limit you from living your fullest life. Cassie's character development throughout the book makes you realize how important it is is to follow your heart.

Go check out this book from your local library or wherever you get your books these days because in my list this is a must read!

Sweet Spot Product Review

So ladies we all know that when it comes to feminine Hygiene products there aren't exactly tons of choices to choose from So I feel like it's my duty as women to give you the scoop on which of these products are worth your money!

Today we'll be talking about my new favorite brand of feminine wash

Sweet Spot Labs!

I've purchased the sweet spot in two of the scents Neroli Mandarin & Coconut Lime and I fell in love with both of them!

The thing that caught me with these products originally was, of course, the packaging how could you not love those cute little polka dots! So when I saw These on Google Express I had to grab them, my local Walmart only had the coconut lime so when I saw the selection they had on google express I was very excited to try two of the five fragrances sweet spot labs offers!

One thing about these products is that they are 97% natural and gynecologist recommended meaning not only will you feel great but you can sleep well knowing that your Belle-chose is being cared for the right way!

Best things about these products :

  1. Fragrance: Both products smell absolutely amazing! Both the coconut Lime and Neroli Mandarin Fill your shower with their aroma. Even though the smell is prominent the product is not harsh at all.
  2. The formula I felt this was something worth mentioning, I was fairly surprised when I first used the product. Most of the feminine washes I have used have a similar consistency to your standard shower gel but sweet spot labs' feminine wash has a rich creamy consistency that is almost pearlescent. Just a little bit of this product produces a rich lather. So a little goes a long way
  3. Price: I bought both of these products on Walmart through google express and paid $5.98 for each about $2.00 more than my original summer's eve which isn't too bad considering that it lasted way longer
  4. Packaging: As I said above the packaging is super cute and I love how those bright colors and polka dots brighten up my morning showers! The bottle also is small so it doesn't take up too much space in my shower.

OGX & Kandee Johnson Product Review !!

OGX Product review!

Hey Guys Today I am so happy to share with you two products from OGX

For Christmas I bought myself two of the Kandee Johnson limited edition Ogx winter products I was so excited to use them the fragrances in particular caught my eye because one I could not decide which fragrance to choose from and because by the time I finally decided on which one I wanted there was limited stock left at Walmart I chose the Sparkling Apple Cider & Frosted Sugar Cookie scents and boy am I glad I did ! Keep reading for a full review of the products!

So first let's talk about this Sparkling Apple Cider Shampoo! It is absolutely to die for first of all as soon as the product hits your hair the whole shower smells like apple cider it was perfect on this on a cold winter day. I also loved how it made my hair feel afterward as well it didn't strip my hair or make it feel brittle but it definitely made my hair feel clean down to the scalp! I give this shampoo 5 stars ! It's too bad that it's limited edition because I would love to make this my regular shampoo hopefully we'll see it again next year and I'll be able to buy another bottle or... three.

Next, Let's discuss this Frosted Sugar Cookie Conditioner! My number one favorite thing about this conditioner is a little goes a long way unlike some of the other products I use I genuinely feel like if I would've used my normal amount I would have used way too much and us natural hair girls know what it's like with our conditioner I am always running low on conditioner but I feel like this one will last quite a while. Plus the smell is amazing I even left a little bit in my hair so that I could enjoy the smell a bit longer.

Best things about these products :

  1. Fragrance: Both products made my whole bathroom smell like apple cider and cookies the smells were strong but not harsh!
  2. Quantity= Quality: With both products, a little went a long way just a quarter size amount of each in my thick afro was able to produce a rich lather and leave my hair looking, feeling, and smelling fantastic.
  3. Price: I bought both of these products on Walmart through google express and paid $5.74 for each I feel like for the quality of the product that's really not bad at all compared to some brands like Cantu and Shea Moisture
  4. Packaging: The packaging is probably my favorite thing about these products The packaging is so cute I am trying to figure out something to with them once they're empty (I'll let you know what I decide) but they're just AHH-DOR-AH-BLE
Note: Like I said up above I bought both these products through google express for $5.74/each and if you click here Get $10 To Shop at Google Express! so basically it's like getting both of these products for the price of one just pay $4.99 shipping  so get to clicking and let me know what you guys think of them and also If anyone has  tried the Gum Drop fragrance comment below and let me know if you think it's worth me trying  in the comment section below !
